Vintage wooden MOP micro mosaic inlaid marquetry 4" jewellery box. Small lacquered rectangular lidded box with metal hinges. Intricate craftsmanship of micro mosaic of wood with mother of pearl and bone pieces in a beautiful traditional Moorish geometric design. Lined with red velvet like fabric. A functional box to store jewellery or trinkets. Handmade, no makers mark. Likely made in Middle East in 1970's-80's. Excellent Vintage Condition. No loss to mosaic, no chips or nicks to wood, lining in immaculate condition.
