Vintage "MARGARET ROSE" gold tone red cameo powder compact 1940's-50's. Gold tone base and frame with shiny maroon insert. Embellished with a cameo. A sliding latch releases lid from compartment. Has original powder sifter and powder puff with pouch. Etched on back reads, as follows: "Margaret Rose. England." Manufactured in England in 1940's-50's. Excellent Vintage Condition. Closure to compact case tight. Compact mirror is bright with no age spots or blemishes. Hinges strong. Original powder sifter and powder puff with pouch. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula.
