"JANE SHILTON" brown snakeskin hard-cased shoulder handbag. Small, rectangular shaped. Hard-cased. Dark brown reptile snakeskin. Frame constructed of dark brown tortoise shell hard plastic with gold tone metal accents. Long gold tone shoulder chain strap. Versatile, can be tucked into handbag to use as a clutch bag. Gold tone flip over clasp closure at top. Interior: sage green velvet lining, small side pocket with exposed zipper closure. No branding but appears to be a Jane Shilton. Likely made in London, England in 1960's-70's. Jane Shilton was founded in 1933 and is still in operation today. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula. Excellent Vintage Condition. Light wear to hardware and snakeskin esp at clasp and corners at base.
