Vintage Lindsay B. Balkweill style black detective man fedora hat ceramic statue. Ceramic statue figure sculpture glazed black. Has a speckled texture. Depiction of a male detective sleuth wearing a trench coat and fedora hat. His right hand is in his pocket and his left hand is cupping his face in a pensive manner. Art Deco / Modernist / New Wave style. Perhaps inspired by Lindsay B. Balkweill. Date stamp on base reads as follows: "3 Jun 1993". Made in 1993 origin unknown. Excellent Vintage Condition. Pre-glazed interior and exterior hairline crack on base at right hand side of belt buckle. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
