Vintage "EGINO WEINERT" bronze plaque cross confirmation religious 1960's GERMANY. Decorative religious wall cross. Wall cross, pocket devotional plaque or traditional first confirmation gift. Small sized. Cross shaped. Solid bronze casting. Depiction of the 12 Apostles. High relief. Text on back reads as follows: "Memento of my confirmation. Come Holy Spirit, fill my heart with your strength and kindle in me the fire of your love. Amen." Hand etched "David." Artist signed "EW" Loop for wall hanging. Catholic religion. Original patina finish. Brutalist, Abstract, Mid-century modern style. Made in Germany in 1960's-70's. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
