Vintage cat Persian ceramic porcelain sculpture statue figure 1980's AMERICA. Medium size, figural shaped. Ceramic porcelain. Depicting an orange long haired cat, appears to be a Persian breed. Sitting position. Good mould. Hand painted by hobbyist. Glazed finish. Kitsch, mid-century modern style. Signed "Meryl 87." and perhaps "Vanbird." Likely made in America in 1987. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
