Vintage "KIGU" gold tone engraved Art Deco powder compact 1940's-60's. Gold tone Art Deco engine turned in ripple effect pattern with sold circle in centre. Pattern is replicated on lid of powder compartment. A sliding latch releases lid from compartment. Has original powder sifter. Engraved around mirror: "Patented. Made in England." And brand logo "Kigu" engraved on centre of powder compartment lid. Manufactured in London, England in 1940's-60's. Very Good Vintage Condition. Closure to compact case tight. Compact mirror is bright with no age spots or blemishes but some scratches. Hinges strong. Original powder sifter. Does not have powder puff. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula.
