Antique Japanese cloisonné black enamel vase Meiji Period 1860's-1870's JAPAN. Large size, hourglass shaped. Enamel on brass. Black body with multicoloured accents, blue interior. Butterfly motif with floral design. Fluted neck. From the Meiji Period. Unmarked. Made in Japan in 1865-1875. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.
