"UNSIGNED" vintage 1960's hand carved wood 12.5" 3.9kg Native American Indian bust sculpture. Life sized. Male Native American Indian art sculpture with slicked back, straight long hair. Hand carved from a solid piece of wood, heavy. Stained. Unsigned. Maroon linoleum is affixed to the base. A second layer of black felt has been added to the perimeter of the base. Unknown origin of where it was made, in 1960's. Sourced within The Mornington Peninsula. Excellent Vintage Condition.

The top of his head is flattened and is darker so it may have been used as a display piece for additional items such as a pot plant or a stack of books. Or perhaps adding a small circular piece of glass to utilise as a small, short side table.
