Vintage 1947 World War 2 certificate of appreciation from the Shire of Narracan for one 2627 Stoker N. L. Savige. Sourced within the Mornington Peninsula.

"Based on historical practices in Victoria, Australia, in the immediate post-war period, the Shire of Narracan Certificate of Appreciation (1947) was a commemorative document issued by the local council to returning service personnel and those who served on the home front.

Following the end of World War II, many Victorian shires, such as Marong and others, issued certificates to recognize the service of local residents in 1946 and 1947."


Good Used Condition, has some damage from some staining, tears and major creases as photographed.
