"ROBUR" alligator embossed 5lbs tea caddy tin antique 1910's-1920's Australia. Would be a beautiful addition to a vintage tea tin collection or stunning kitchen display piece. 

Pressed tin with alligator/crocodile embossed surface. Embossed on face and back: "Robur Tea No 1. grade 5Lbs Net Pure Blended Tea." On the lid: "Robur is good tea." Embossment also on the base, but difficult to read. Gold, but worn exposing rusted brown underneath.Tin is large, oversized and rectangular, pre-barcoded. Manufactured in Australia in 1910's-1920's.


The tin is in very good antique condition with minimal wear, rust overall especially on top and lid, but all in all in good condition for its age (please refer to photos).
