History of Mobil & Vacuum Oil
Mobil’s predecessor company, Vacuum Oil, first opened its Melbourne branch in February 1895. Mobil’s Flying Red Horse (Pegasus) logo first appeared in Australia in 1939 and became one of Australia’s best recognised corporate symbols. The two bottles condition and provenance make these highly collectible and valuable items.
