This beautiful etching of a building scene is a good example of a copper plate etching. The etching is in excellent condition with only one spot on the top right of the printing paper but is covered by the matting and the matting is in good condition with just a few minor marks and one spot (please refer to photos). The etching is signed and numbered on the bottom as well as a description on the back. Unfortunately I couldn't find any information on the artist as I was unable to read the signature and the description on the back, maybe you will have better luck.

 

The printing paper is approximately 28.9 x 38.1cm and the etching is approximately 17.9 x 23.9cm. The matting is approximately 34.7 x 40.6cm.
