This exquisite Impressionistic landscape painting in oil on canvas board. The painting is beautifully painted showing a country scene, perhaps Australian landscape. Hanson has executed well light and shadow but perhaps more impartially the thick application of paint dragged around by his brush all through the painting, and shows through most in the clouds. This is a great little painting, with the application of paint and good placement of the scene, shows its done by a known seasoned artist.
The painting is signed on the bottom left corner of the painting as well on the back with title “Cloud Shadows”.
The beautiful ornate gold timber frame is approximately 37.5cm x 32.5 x 5cm and painting is approximately 25 x 20cm.
