"CHAD VALLEY GAMES" Tiger Tim's Weekly bagatelle pinball game antique 1910's England. Would make a beautiful addition to an antique wooden game collection, "Tiger Tim's Weekly" comic fan or stunning home display piece.

Wooden constructed bagatelle pinball game, painted gold. Wonderful collectable advertising piece for "Tiger Tim's Weekly", an American comic featuring Tiger Tim and his friends, which first appeared in 1904 and ran until 1940. Very scarce and sought after. Plaque on top right hand corner of game reads as follows: "Chad Valley Games. Harborne England." Plaque at bottom centre of game reads as follows: "By permission of the proprietors of Tiger Tim's Weekly. British pat Appd for." When the ball drops into one of the holes, the character pops up with the relevant score
A door near the base of the game swivels to release the balls. Features an advertisement for "The Rainbow" comic on the underside of the board.

Manufactured by "Chad Vally Games" in Harborne England in 1910's, possibly 1920's-early 1930's. Chad Valley was a famous toy maker by appointment to the Queen. Chad Valley Games began manufacturing toys in 1915 and is still in operation today. Was sourced within the inner suburbs of Melbourne.

Very Good Antique Condition, in good working order. Comes with 1 steel ball bearing (originally came with 10). Advertisement is very worn. At some stage, scores have been written on board in black texta behind each character. Missing 2 pins. Ball end (or covering) missing from shooting pin but does not effect functionality. The swivel tap is missing, it elevates the end of the board so that the balls will run properly.
